This training delivers a series of video based masterclasses produced by George Lee Sye, widely recognised as a world leader in the teaching and application of business improvement methods.
The focus is on practical discussion about how improvement methods really work, not some unworkable academic theory.
OVERVIEW
This Yellow Belt training provides an introductory learning experience in the improvement methodologies known as Lean and Six Sigma.
It is designed to develop participant knowledge, their capability for creating efficiencies in their own workplace, and the ability to contribute effectively to other business improvement project work.
Participants engage in self-paced online training followed by hands on application of selected process improvement tools.
PRE-REQUISITES
Students are expected to have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications such as MS Excel. There are no prior qualification or experience requirements beyond that.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
At the completion of this training program, participants will be able to:

+ Demonstrate an understanding of the difference between Lean and Six Sigma methodologies
+ Demonstrate a basic working knowledge of the DMAIC project management process

FORMAL CERTIFICATION AS A LSS YELLOW BELT ..
Formal certification requires a candidate to demonstrate a relevant level of competency through:
(a) successfully passing the yellow belt assessment,
(b) successfully passing the lean workplace assessment, and
(c) lodging evidence of value-adding workplace application.
Upon successful achievement, candidates will receive Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt Qualification signed off by George Lee Sye and issued by the 9 Skills Factory.
